Home for the Holidays

This year “Home for the holidays” takes on a whole new meaning for us all. This holiday season won’t be filled with a house full of family from in and out of town, but it will be filled with Love, hope, joy and lots of Christmas decor.

This year I tried a few Christmas decor projects. Cone Christmas trees and a couple wreaths kept me busy.

I bought several Foam cones from Amazon and Hobby Lobby. I also purchased a few rolls of felt, sequins and glitter from Amazon and I just happened to have some extra faux fur from a previous project.

It took about an hour and a half to finish all five trees and it was a pretty simple process. I’m very happy with the results and the trees look great in our foyer.

The wreaths were a little more difficult because I wasn’t really sure where to start. I tried a few placement options before I finally hot glued everything into place. The total process was about 2 hours for both wreaths.
